Why It Matters
Language is my new compiler. I cannot use loose terms like 'system' or 'user' anymore. Precision in defining 'constructs' is how I survive peer review.
What To Learn
- Construct vs. Variable: The abstract concept (e.g., Legitimacy) vs. the measurement (e.g., Survey Score).
- Variance Theory (X causes Y type logic) vs. Process Theory (X evolves into Y over time / events).
- Endogenous (internal) vs. Exogenous (external) Change: Is the disruption coming from the AI or the users?
